On Sunday, we will be celebrating Christ's ascension into heaven. Our services will reflect the joy that the disciples felt when the risen Christ led them to Bethany, gave his final blessing and was carried up to heaven. 'And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy' (Luke 24: 52).

Amidst all the turmoil and bewildering events in our world, it is good to remember that joy is at the core of our faith. Jesus was the one who brought good news and we are here to share it with others.
